1 RACE ORGANIZATION
2 GENERAL INFORMATION
The organizers will publish information on respective qualifiers for each race, as well as a full description of all courses with time limits at control points.
3 PARTICIPATON REQUIREMENTS

For foreign bank transactions, please include transfere costs your bank charge and additional 8 EUR which the organizer`s bank charge.
The registration fees include the following:
• Assistance and refreshments along the race route,
• Race pack,
• Electronic timing,
• Transfer (only for the Midi Trail, from Jahorina to the start line),
• Hot meal after the race,
• A finisher`s medal.
Registration for the MINI Trail does not include hot meal.

Please, make sure you have entered the race name as well as a participant`s name while making a payment.
Maximum number of participants
• 100 for ULTRA Trail,
• 100 for MAXI Trail,
• 200 for MIDI Trail,
• 200 for MINI Trail.
50% of the entry fee will be refunded if a cancellation is reported up to and including July 14, 2017. Refunds will not be made if the application is canceled after July 14, 2017. The organizer will provide a reimbursement refund no later than August, 15th, 2017. Registration fees can be used for the following race year instead of being refunded, if the competitor wishes to do so.
In the case of extraordinary events, weather conditions, earthquakes, floods and extreme climatic phenomena in the period up to 15 days before the scheduled date of the race, the organizer reserves the right to refund 50% of the entry fee. This percentage is calculated to enable the organizer to cover part of the expenses incurred.
Should the race be cancelled or interrupted for inclement weather reasons, or for any other reason beyond our control, no refund of the admission fee will be made.
5 COLLECTION OF THE RACE BIB AND RACE PACK

ULTRA and MAXI Trail participants shall gather at the start location on July 29, 2017, no later than 06:30 where they will be given wristbands for electronic timing. There will be organized area for equipment that competitors may want to leave. The equipment will be waiting for them at the finish line after the end of the race. The organizer is responsible only for the equipment to be handed over to an accredited person, which should be packed in a bag with a matching race number. Just before the race, the organizer will hold a technical meeting with participants.
The race starts at 07:00.
MIDI Trail participants who stated in their registration that they will need transfer to the start line shall gather in front of hotel Bistrica, on July 29, 2017, no later than 07:00. From that point, organizers will transfer competitors to the start line in Sarajevo, Baščaršija where they will be given a wristband for electronic timing. There will be organized area for the equipment that competitors may want to leave. The equipment will be waiting for them at the finish line after the end of the race. The organizer is responsible only for equipment to be handed over to an accredited person, which should be packed in a bag with a matching race number. Just before the race, the organizer will hold a technical meeting with participants.
The race starts at 09:00.
MINI Trail participants shall gather in front of the hotel Bistrica on Jahorina, the start and finish zone of the shortest race, on July 30, 2017, no later than 08:30, where they will be given wristbands for electronic timing. There will be organized area for the equipment that competitors may want to leave. The equipment will be waiting for them at the finish line after the end of the race. The organizer is responsible only for equipment to be handed over to an accredited person, which should be packed in a bag with matching race number. Just before the race, the organizer will hold a technical meeting with participants.
The race starts at 09:00.
7 RACE ROUTES
MAXI Trail: Jahorina, Ogorjelica, Ravna planina, Majnex, spring of Miljacka river, Goli Koran, narrow-gauge railway Sarajevo-Višegrad, Močila, Jarčedoli, Apel`s Road, Bobsleigh track, Prvi šumar, Trebević Summit, Puho`s plane, Stupanj, Dvorišta biathlon track, Jahorina.
MIDI Trail: Baščaršija, Dariva, Goat’s bridge (Kozja ćuprija), Jarčedoli, Apel`s Road, Bobsleigh track, Prvi šumar, Trebević Summit, Puho`s plane, , Stupanj, Dvorišta biathlon track, Jahorina.
MINI Trail: hotel Bistrica, Ogorjelica Summit, Prača ski slope, Kalaidža`s Rocks, Viewpoint, hotel Bistrica.
On Friday, July 28, 2017, at 20:00, the organizer will hold a technical briefing with the participants of MIDI, MAXI and ULTRATrail in the hotel Bistrica.
In the case of extraordinary events, weather conditions, earthquakes, floods and extreme climate phenomena, the organizer reserves the right to cancel the race or change the route. If there are any obstacles in which the trail can become impassable, alternative routes will be used as described at the technical meeting before the start of the race.
Competitors HAVE TO adhere strictly to the marked race route. In line with the rules of the race, with respect to the personal safety and the safety of other riders and race personnel, it is strictly forbidden to take shortcuts or cut out sections of the route. Any departure from the official route, apart from entailing disqualification, shall be at the sole risk of the competitor.
8 SAFETY AND CHECK POINTS
9 ENVIROMENTAL PROTECTION
• Each competitor shall be disqualified from the race if proven to deliberately leave garbage and behaving negligently towards nature.
• The competitors shall NOT be given water in plastic cups at the refreshment points. Each competitor shall be required to carry his/her own drinking cup or water bottle, which can be filled at the refreshment points.
• Any illegal activity against the woods noticed by a participant or staff shall be reported to the organizer or to the competent service using a free phone number 080 05 01 02.
In the case of extraordinary events, weather conditions, earthquakes, floods and extreme climate phenomena, the organizer reserves the right to suspend or cancel the race, even during the race, if the real circumstances present a potential hazards for competitors. For the foregoing reasons, the organizer may change the route of the race, in which case, all competitors shall be informed in timely manner.
11 EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS
• camel bag or bottles that contain at least one liter of liquid;
• visible race number;
• space blanket;
• head lamp with spare batteries;
• roadmap (provided by the organizer);
• mobile phone with reliable battery;
• first aid kit with an elastic bandage, pain killers, plasters
• suitable shoes (trail running shoes or any other alternative minimalist shoe for trail running).
The compulsory equipment may be worn or kept inside the backpack.
The obligatory material shall be checked when the athlete collects the race bib. Random checks shall be made along the race route. MINI Trail race participants are not compelled to have space blankets or head lamps, but other equipment listed as mandatory also applies to them.

• cream for sun and wind protection
• long sleeve shirt / jacket in case of bad weather conditions in the higher areas
• a small amount of money for the possible purchase of food in the mountain shelters;
• protection against mosquito bites
The use of poles is permitted. If the competitor decides to use them, he/she has to take care of them from the start to the finish line. The organizer will not take any equipment left by competitors at refreshment points or at any other location during the race.
• fails to pass a check point;
• takes shortcuts;
• throws garbage away during the race;
• fails to aid a participant in difficulty;
• insults or threatens the staff or volunteers;
• uses transport during the race;
• refuses to undergo checks by the medical staff along the race route;
• refuses to allow checks of the obligatory material;
• does not have a head lamp, a wind cheater (anorak), a survival blanket, camel bag or bottles.
The penalty will be applied immediately.
13 MAXIMUM TIME OF RACE COMPLETION
MAXI: The time limit for the completion of the race is 20 hours, until 03:00 on Sunday, July 30. There shall be two time limit check points. There will be organized transport to the finish line for participants who withdraw due to injury or pass with a delay at these points.
MIDI: The time limit for the completion of the race is 9 hours, until 18:00 on Saturday, July 29. There shall be two time limit check points. There will be organized transport to the finish line for participants who withdraw due to injury or pass with a delay at the point.
MINI: The time limit for the completion of the race is 3 hours, until 12:00 on Sunday, July 30. A “pick up” service will follow the last runner, in order to help these who injure or withdraw.
The organizer will provide each segment with published information on respective qualifying check points as well as a full description of the trail with time limits.
Competitors that do not reach these check points within the time limits shall be stopped and will not be allowed to continue the race. In order to protect the health of the participants, medical staff at the check points has the authority to stop those runners who are judged unfit to continue the race. In this case, the participant must follow the indications of the member of the medical staff. Competitors who fail to do so will be immediately disqualified.
The organizer will secure the transport for those who decide to quit because of injury, for those who are judged by the medical staff to be unfit to continue the race, and those who reach the check points after the time limit. Transport to the finish area will be done according to the plan the race coordinator creates after enough people drop out from the race to fill the vehicle, unless the situation requires emergency transport. Any participant who drops out from the race at any point other than the established check points should make their own way to the following aid station/check point and from there will be transported.
14 REFRESHMENT POINTS
WATER on Refreshment stands will ONLY be dispensed in the cups / bottles / containers that competitors carry with them. Other refreshments will be available in the original packaging. There will be drinking water at other places along the trail.
Food is consumed within Refreshment points. There are shops on MIDI, MAXI and UlLTRA trails where it will be possible to buy food and water, so it is recommended to bring some money.
Competitors are required to dispose of any GARBAGE that remains after the consumption of food and drink at the designated places within Refreshment points.
When leaving each refreshment station, athletes must have sufficient liquid and food to reach the next station. The final refreshment point for everybody is at the finish line and then the hot meal will be served near the finish area for Midi, Maxi, and Ultra participants.
